TILBURY This is our head office. At Tilbury we have a large agency business and we
act as port agent for many of the major worldwide container carriers that call
in the port. We are also agents for other owners that are involved in different types of cargo such as car carriers, general cargo vessels and also grain/bulk carriers. On average we handle over 250 vessels per year at Tilbury and from this office we also handle vessels at THAMESPORT. From Tilbury we handle all warehousing, inland haulage and NES custom entries for our organisation. All disbursements, accounts and administration matters are dealt with at Tilbury. FELIXSTOWE Our major business at this port is container related.
SOUTHAMPTON Also a major container port so the activity here is similar to the other ports with the exception that this port is also the main cruise port in the U.K. We have the facility to handle all types of cruise vessels that may call at Southampton. |
As well as performing the ship's husbandry we are heavily involved in the
input of manifests etc into the port operation system (FCP) as well as preparing
export containers for shipment including ensuring hazardous manifests, reefer
lists and customs clearance are all attended to before the vessels arrive.
